We collect the details you provide when you sign up (name, handle, email), the content you create or interact with, and basic technical data like device and approximate location. This is placeholder copy for the mockup.

We use your information to run the service, process payments, personalise what you see, keep the platform safe, and communicate with you. Lorem ipsum placeholder copy stands in for the full policy text.
3. Payment data
Card details are handled by our payment processor and are never stored on Folo's servers. We only retain a masked reference such as Visa ···· 4242. Example copy only.
4. Sharing & disclosure
We don't sell your personal data. We share information with service providers who help us operate Folo, and where required by law. A full list of categories will appear in the production policy.
5. Within our corporate group
We may share your personal data with other companies in our corporate group — meaning our parent and subsidiary companies, and platforms and services operated by the same group (including any successor platform to which the Folo service, or part of it, is migrated) — where necessary for: providing and improving our services; account and service continuity (including migration of your account, content, transaction history and verification status to a successor or affiliated platform); security, fraud prevention and compliance; customer support; and internal administration and analytics. Group companies which process your personal data do so under the same standards of protection described in this Privacy Policy and under intra-group data protection agreements. Where a migration of your account to an affiliated platform materially changes who controls your personal data or how it is used, we will inform you in advance and, where required by law, seek your consent.
6. Your choices & rights
You can edit your profile, adjust privacy toggles, download your data, or delete your account from Settings. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights — placeholder for jurisdiction-specific language.
7. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with legal obligations. When you delete your account, we remove or anonymise your data per the placeholder retention schedule.
